Website Hosting

What is website hosting?

In order to get a website active and live on the internet, you need to host a website. This makes it possible for your website to be accessed by everyone on the internet. Web hosting is basically the space that you buy on a webserver to store your website files. Web hosting does not include website updates, bug fixes, plugin or CMS upgrades or website-specific support.

What is the specification of the server?

This provides you with 25GB of disk space and 1TB of monthly bandwidth on a fast server located in Sydney, Australia. Should these limits be exceeded, we will contact you to provide a solution for excess usage, which may require your account to be upgraded.

Sites are issued a complimentary SSL certificate ensuring the site is trusted, and secure. Server database and asset backups are performed daily, and each backup is retained for 1 month.

Alternatively, you can manage the hosting yourself and we can recommend a provider. Existing hosting accounts with other providers can be used, provided it meets any technical requirements for the website to run. We are happy to assist in self-hosted issues – this will be invoiced at our standard development hourly rate.

How much do I pay each year for website hosting?

Our base entry hosting offering starts at $250 per year.
